Simplify a monthly
service summary report that required a 200-page mainframe
data printout to be re-keyed into Excel spreadsheets,
summarized, and graphed. Monthly manpower requirement:
40 hours.

result: Data
retrieval, worksheet insertion, and graphing completely
automated using Excel/VBA. Need for 200-page printout
eliminated. Flexibility included to permit client to adapt
template for other divisions. Monthly
manpower requirement after project: 5 minutes.

weekly report of orders/returns dollar volume by product category.

amounts keyed daily by product category code and dollar amount

tracking and materials requirements projections. PC data available
at least two weeks earlier than same could be produced by
mainframe order-entry system. Weekly manpower requirement after project:
